TEKsystems in support of our client, is seeking a Senior Service Desk Technician for the Service Desk Incident Response Team. Business Hours: Monday-Friday 6:30a.m.-6:00 pm Saturday 7:30 am - 1:00 pm Selected Candidates Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00 PM *2-3 years of IT experience as a Desktop Support technician with experience diagnosing and resolving technical issues with hardware and software systems, providing general desktop support duties with excellent troubleshooting skills. *Reliable attendance *Customer services skills and temperament oNo coarse, abrasive or condescending language used over the phone to customers oNo argumentative demeanor oTakes ownership, not defensive about blame oEmpathetic oPatient with upset and/or angry customers oAnalytical oProblem solver (troubleshooting skills) oTrainable oSelf-starting and Initiative oAble to simplify explanations so that the customer understands The following are examples of the competency items which we would "Like" to see in this individual as well. *Experience in customer service-oriented workplace *IT experience and knowledge in the following. oDesktop Support (Remote Support) oWindows 10 Operating System. oMapping network drives oGlobal Protect support (VPN) oGeneral NAS knowledge oOffice Suite (particularly Outlook 2013 or higher) oPreferred ServiceNow Ticketing System experience. *Experience with Desktop Support work *Experience working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment (adaptability) *Experience working with, and as an active part of, a lively team (team player) *Multi-tasking ability *Documentation skills (clear, concise) *Experience with Active Directory *Experience with remote support or desktop support The position will be located in Frankfort KY and involves a cubicle environment.
