POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq Diversified Services, Inc a subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation has an excitig opportunity for a Security Systems Analyst. This position is responsible for assisting the Security Systems Manager to provide front-line and high-level IT hardware, software and network support to internal and/or external clients to simplify and enhance their effectiveness. Responds to requests for technical assistance; identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves technical issues related to hardware, software, and networks' and escalates technical issues if unable to resolve. Supports core business applications, virtual environments, firewalls, and networking. Plans, designs, configures, implements IT hardware and software systems; monitors and maintains both physical and virtual servers, appliances, and applications.



  • Coordinates special projects, such as network-related wiring plans; hardware and software purchases; and system installation, backup, maintenance, and problem solving.
  • Provides incident management and system monitoring assistance; determines problems and recommends solutions for critical technology incidents.
  • Provides monitoring for system applications and issues, and responds to and escalates technical issues as required.
  • Manages assigned high-level and critical incidents, and ensures tickets are fully documented and resolved properly.
  • Analyzes and troubleshoots the network logs; tracks and documents the nature, processes, and resolution of problems; and communicates the results with upper management.
  • Keeps current with system information, changes, and updates; researches and evaluates new technologies; and recommends network and server hardware and software.
  • Supports IT and the business about security policies, and consults on security issues.
  • Manage and assist users with Export control to include background vetting.
  • Manage Users and Groups within the Active Directory.
  • End user Support (G-suites, Guardtek, SiPass, Milestone, OCR).
  • Manage the EverBridge application used for emergency notification within all Airbus sites.
  • Manage a broad spectrum of Networking components which includes PoE switching and IP cameras.
  • Acting team expert for all networking related issues such as VLAN, ACL, Server, and port issues.
  • Take part in the commissioning of these systems with our security integrator.
  • Responsible for acceptance testing with the security integrator.


Theprimary duty schedule will be Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. but they will maintain the ability to be recalled if an emergency arises with the ESS/CCTV that requires their expertise.

Payrate:$61,000 to $64,000 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must possess an Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the law enforcement, security management, or related fields.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in systems support services of five plus (5+) may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • 3-5+ years' experience in systems support, programming, installation, and servicing large complex systems, preferably in access control systems (ACS) and video management systems (VMS).
  • Experience in the design, documentation, and integration of these systems.
  • Having designed and deployed multiple access control and video management enterprise systems.
  • Understand and can follow various IT project processes, language, and structure.
  • Network training and certification preferred.
  • Can perform as senior technical resource for resolution of system errors/failures .
  • Successfully served as a point of authority and/or source of technical knowledge for areas of expertise.
  • Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of organization's business practices and issues faced and contributes to problem resolution of those issues.
  • Must have an excellent working knowledge of access control systems and of protection criteria for sensitive/classified materials and facilities.
  • Must show the ability to supervise subordinates in an effective and professional manner.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office & G-Suites software applications.
  • Must have demonstrated especially effective leadership and team-building skills.
  • Should have experience in labor relations, logistics, and communications.
  • Must have demonstrated excellent analytical, oral, verbal and writing skills.
