General Laborer - County Materials

We are seeking a General Laborer for our customer, County Materials located in Appleton, WI.

As a General Laborer, you will be working in our Sample Department to create product samples for our Masonry sales team and customers.

Monday-Friday, 7:00am- 3:30pm

Starting at $19.00+/hour based on qualification/skills

Job Duties:

• Operate equipment such as forklift to stack, load, and retrieve supplies and materials from yard and warehouses
• Identify supplies/materials utilizing product specifications
• Utilize tools to measure, cut, and assemble product samples
• Fulfill customer orders as well as document and maintain inventory
• Clean and maintain work area, tools, and equipment
• Exercise good judgment regarding work site unloading and operation
• Other tasks as needed

Work Environment:

• Carrying / Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds frequently
• Carrying / Lifting > 40 Pounds occasionally
• Standing / Walking / Climbing
• Squatting / Crouching / Kneeling / Bending
• Pushing / Pulling / Reaching Above Shoulder

Physical Requirements:

• Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions
• Work near moving machinery and equipment
• Work in a noisy environment

Experience & Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• 0-2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of commonly used industry concepts, practices, and procedures preferred
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel preferred
• Detail oriented
• Experience operating forklift a plus
• Ability to perform well as a team and on an individual basis
• Self-motivator and must be flexible in order to accommodate needs of your team
