Location: Select individuals will receive an email invitation with location.

As an Operations Specialist, you will provide clerical support for all Anchorage Teamsters positions operating under a clerical bargaining agreement in departments including but not limited to customer service, terminal operations, and sales.

• Train and qualify at multiple clerical positions
• Provide assistance to all Anchorage departments
• Run reports as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications (Education, Experience, & Certifications) -

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree is preferred with four years of experience in the transportation industry.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities -

• Excellent verbal, written, organizational and communication skills.
• Excellent math skills.
• Must be a standout colleague and provide support to the department.
• Multi-task and prioritize with little or no supervision. Ability to work at a high level of accuracy and to anticipate and understand customer needs.
• Knowledge of state and federal bridge regulations and trailing equipment a plus
• Computer literate, with the ability to utilize standard software applications and be proficient in Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Work, PowerPoint, and Excel)
