Work type: On Campus Location: Normal, Illinois Title: Substitute Teacher (Long Term) at University High School - for Science Job Summary Serve as a Substitute Teacher, providing academic classroom instruction for students in the absence of the regular teacher. UHigh Laboratory School is a service unit of the College of Education of Illinois State University. It offers a comprehensive program of instruction for high school students. UHigh is a caring community of life-long learners. Its mission is to act as a model for educational methods and theory in support of the preparation of future educators, conduct educational research, offer quality educational programs for children, and disseminate information to others in the educational profession. Salary Rate / Pay Rate $112.50 for first 10 days and $229.00 on day 11. Additional Information Extra Help, Substitutes, and Lab School Coaches (APN with less than 4 months in contract length) Benefits include time away from work for eligible employees and the option to participate in the University's 403(b) Plan. Required Qualifications 1. Bachelor's Degree Work Hours Typical school hours. Functional Expectations 1.
