Job Title: Project Manager/Business Analyst - Commercial Banking Reporting

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Project Manager/Business Analyst to join our Commercial Banking team. This role will focus on managing the use cases, reporting documentation, and data accuracy of our reporting processes in alignment with data management policies. The individual will work closely with both business partners and internal teams to streamline reporting workflows, ensure compliance with data management standards, and provide visibility into project progress to senior management. A key responsibility is to guide teams through the transition of reporting models into iHub and ensure that all data elements are accurately documented and traceable.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Data Management & Reporting: Ensure that Commercial Banking reports and models are sourcing accurate data, in accordance with data management policies. Oversee documentation and metadata management to meet audit standards.
  • Business Collaboration: Facilitate discussions with business partners to gather requirements for new reports and determine the appropriate data to feed into the iHub system.
  • Process Improvement: Streamline and synchronize reporting processes across teams and with executive management, ensuring clear communication of status and deliverables.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure that all reports are fully documented according to data management standards. Manage the creation and maintenance of data lineage templates and track progress on required documentation.
  • Guidance & Training: Support teams in adapting to new reporting standards and processes, particularly with the transition of legacy reports to flow through iHub.
  • Collaboration with Metadata Team: Work closely with the Metadata team to ensure data is accurate before it moves into their hands for further processing.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate project tracking through Jira, reporting progress on deliverables to both internal stakeholders and executive leadership.


Key Qualifications:



  • Experience: 5-7 years as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, or similar role in a data-driven environment, preferably with a financial background.
  • Tools: Proficiency in Jira and Excel is required. Excel knowledge should include data lineage templates and data tracking.
  • Financial Services Background: Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a must. Familiarity with Wells Fargo systems such as iHub, WCIS, WDM, or other Systems of Record is a significant advantage.
  • Data Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of data lineage, source-to-target mapping, metadata management, and data warehouses. Familiarity with schemas, field structures, and naming conventions is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams, ensuring clear understanding of reporting requirements and project progress.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure data accuracy, identify potential issues, and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple deliverables, prioritize effectively, and ensure on-time, high-quality completion of tasks.
