Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Software, Systems, Network, or Industrial Engineering; Computer Science; Information Technology or Assurance; Cybersecurity.
  • Five (5) or more years direct experience with:
    • ACAS/Nessus administration and scanning of DoD systems
    • System Patching, to include network/network devices, Windows, RHEL, Exchange, and more
    • Familiarity with ESS/HBSS, ePolicy Orchestrator
    • Security Techinical Implementation Guides (STIG) configurations, STIG Viewer
    • Information Assusrance Vunerablility Management (IAVM) and vunerablility analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • US citizen with active DoD Secret clearance, ability to upgrade to Top Secret
  • Eligible for CSWF IAT II (Security+ certification at minimum)
  • Both written and verbal communications skills are required
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment


Desired Skills

  • Experience directly supporting Navy a plus
  • Automation and scripting experience a plus
  • Desire for process improvement
  • Working knowledge of VRAM, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) security controls, Risk Management Framework (RMF), and other Navy / DoD security compliance processes
  • Supporting system Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, creating artifacts, control implementation details, and POAMs
  • Technical degree highly preferred, or 15 years experience


Description

  • Providing general engineering and administrative support the Navy Unified Communications platforms
  • Focusing on Cyber Security activities, to include scanning, patching, system engineering, vulnerability managements, artifact authoring and management, and supporting all steps in the ATO process
  • Leading efforts to validate security controls, verifying STIG configurations, and scheduling / executing frequent ACAS scans
  • Leading monthly patching requirements, IAVA remediation's, EXORDS, and driving to ensure system security.
  • Participating in and providing inputs for accreditation and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes
  • Developing system level documentation, as needed
