You're all about organization and communication; equally comfortable out in front of a TV media campaign as you are behind the scenes making sure every detail is in place. As an NYI Sales Planner, you're essential in supporting the NYI sales staff in all areas including Linear Media, Advanced Advertising, and Marketing & Research to maximize the profitability of all NYI products. You'll also work in conjunction with the sales staff in communicating with clients and agencies to help with the ease of sale for NYI Account Executives. Is this YOU?

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Create all customized packages for NYI; managing inventory to make sure correct clients run, and work with affiliate reps to maximize packages using linear media, marketing and research elements to garner new business and increase existing dollars
  • Manage campaigns from beginning to end - order receipt, material gathering & approval, trafficking and post-analysis
  • Utilize marketing materials (i.e. promotions) for use in presentations and provide updates to leadership on account development progress
  • Work with incoming research data to incorporate latest trends, qualitative & quantitative data into client presentations as well as ratings estimates for high-profile programming
  • Gather all creative materials used to launch an APS campaign
  • Manage subscriber data, one-sheets and NYI maps
  • Update and regularly organize packages and shells with rate changes based on inventory availability and management approval on a weekly basis
  • Present the local sports updates and any new packages to sales team
  • Pull reports (from Domo) regarding high-profile events/shows for management team to review and see average unit rates
  • Regularly update trackers for high-profile sporting events with clients who purchased spots in event
  • Assist AEs with requests for programming grids and rate requests for high-profile shows/sports
  • Update rate cards on the affiliate site with direction and approval from pricing team
  • Communicate with clients on an as-needed basis
  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Background Stuff That's Helpful

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Media or related discipline
  • 2-4 years of experience in media or advertising
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow-through on assignments
  • Proficiency in office software including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of STRATA preferred
  • Excellent analytical, research, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a multi-task high-pressure environment

Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $42,000.00- $69,000.00/ year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
