Commercial Appliance Parts & Service (CAPS) is seeking a dynamicAccounts Receivable Specialist. Full Time/Hourly* *Mon-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 PM* Key Responsibilities: TheAccounting Receivable Specialistensures fast and accurate posting of customer payments, new customer entries, month-end reporting, and a variety of other tasks with the admin team. Your duties will include: Accurately apply payment receipts from ACH deposits and non-accounts receivable payments. Apply and reconcile credit card transactions. Process month-end closing and prepare weekly AR aging reports. Handle NSF and chargeback information, notifying appropriate credit specialists. Manage relationships with ACH customers and complete customer ACH forms. Report payment discrepancies. Process warranty credits and write-offs. Manage unreconciled payments for the bank at each branch location. Report intercompany payments to brands and apply payments paid to other brands. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications: Preferred: High School and accounting training Minimum of two (2) years of relevant training and/or bookkeeping experience. Strong computer and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Acrobat. Customer service communication skills. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
