Job Title: Electrical Test Technician Location: 11661 Sorrento Valley Road, San Diego, CA 92121 Shift: 1st shift (may need to be flexible to work a few hours on Saturdays) Duration: 6+ months Payrate: $25/hr. on W2 without benefits Role & Responsibilities: Responsible for installing, connecting, testing, monitoring electrical and electronic systems and equipment, including wiring fixtures in test areas, and report fault Responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting, by reading electrical schematics. Conduct periodic inspections to identify potential problems before they occur on testing equipment. Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, circuits, wiring methods. Experience using test & measurement equipment like DMMs. Familiarity with the use of handheld tools like pliers, wire strippers, crimping tools. Performs troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions at the component level. Use various computer software to load & test firmware on embedded devices. Build test circuits (breadboard) for evaluation. Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required.
