The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women's and 10 men's programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation's premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as "The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory. |

- Assists and handles operations roles within the program.
- Handles recruiting, training, planning and managing of all XC and Distance Events.

- A valid driver's license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Highly proficient in technology, computer literacy and programing such as MS office products (Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint).

Preferred Qualifications |
- High school or collegiate track and field coaching and competing experience in the sprints, hurdles or jumping events.
- Experience at the Big Ten or Power 4 Conference level.

Equipment Utilized |
- Must be highly proficient in computers and computer software.
- Must be fast learning with sprint and jump technology used for the instruction and testing of athletes.

Physical Demands and Work Environment |
- Must be able to maintain flexible hours throughout the entire week and weekend.
- Must be available and flexible with a varying work schedule, ranging mornings to evenings.
- Must be available to travel during the weekend and weekends with the team.
