Scope
This role is to support prototype manufacturing and testing. All levels will be heavily involved with testing firearms on a regular basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Technician Level I: Responsible for shooting, cleaning ranges, assisting engineers and technician team in shooting activities.
Technician Level II: Responsible for all Level I duties plus running tests with additional shooters from outside the department, prototyping parts in machine shop, rapid prototype (3D printers), preparing/running tests and evaluations, proficiency in more in-depth fire arms tests such as drop, hot cold, level, cycle testers, proof, accuracy, etc.
Technician Level III: Responsible for all Level I and II duties. In addition, responsible for placing work orders, purchase requisitions, and using SAP for scrapping guns. Demonstrates a high level of proficiency in either machine shop or 3D printers. Demonstrates a high competency level in setting up, running and completing tests.
