Electrical Engineer

Position Summary:

Milacron is looking for an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join our team in Batavia, OH. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete electrical design package required for complex plastic processing machinery. The design package will include electrical schematics, layouts, interconnections, and Bill of Materials (BOM) produced in accordance with NFPA and ANSI standards.

Work You'll Do:

• Review machine orders for content needed to fulfill customer requirements

• Produce the electrical drawing package and BOM for machinery

• Work with shop personnel as they build, test, and validate machinery

• Support sales and service teams to answer technical questions relative to machine design

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet or exceed customers' expectations for delivery and productivity, including but not limited to broader engineering team, R&D, procurement, and operations teams

• Ensure tasks are completed on time to support overall schedule

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other related field

• 1+ years of relevant internship experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of industrial products and/or subsystems (drives, motors, programmable logic controllers)

• Knowledge and of electro-mechanical systems, power concepts, and power savings

• Proficient in ECAD design to produce wiring diagrams and layouts
