Job Description

Job Summary: Assists with planning, monitoring and analyzing schedule and financial performance on various program types, including Design & Build and Customer Service support programs. This position typically works under close supervision and direction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in establishing program Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Project Authorizations (PA's) and budgets.
  • Aids in supporting the monthly cost reporting cycle through the review of Estimate to Complete (ETC's) and current program performance trends.
  • Creates and maintains schedules for assigned programs and tasks.
  • Maintains schedules for assigned programs and monitors progress and report performance.
  • Performs variance, trend and "What if" analysis and develops necessary corrective action and work around plans.
  • Assists in preparing and maintaining monthly manpower forecast reports.
  • Attends schedule status review meetings with department heads and assigned program personnel.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate college degree in business administration, accounting, finance or management. Some experience in a related field, finance or management preferred. Must have demonstrative proficiency in communications at the individual and group level and possess good presentation skills. Working knowledge / experience in program cost, schedule, performance reporting tools a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel and Word. Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills. Ability to travel foreign and domestic.Agreement to work on-site; manager will coordinate intern work schedule that supports academic commitments.

Pay Range $21hr - $30hr
