Description

The hours for this position are:

Monday - Thursday: 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM

Fridays: 8:45 AM - 5:15 PM / 9:45 AM - 6:15 PM (Alternating)

Saturdays: 1 - 2 per month from 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM

Role

Immediately greets and assists members and potential members by processing financial transactions, explaining services, setting up new accounts, and resolving issues. Aids the Service Center Manager in achieving financial and operational goals. Works collaboratively with all employees to ensure exceptional service is provided to every member and addresses any problems that arise. This sales and service position strives to establish relationships with members so that CAMPUS will be their primary financial institution.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities



  • Exemplifies the core values of CAMPUS, while supporting our strategic priorities for members, employees, and community. Maintains the highest standard of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
  • Receive and process member financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers and other transactions as required
  • Assists members with opening and closing accounts, answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve. Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations
  • Handles the processing of loan applications for members, reviewing each request to ensure alignment with their financial needs. Identifies other lending products that could enhance their borrowing experience and provide greater financial flexibility
  • Schedules and monitors daily activities associated with cash operations and the teller line; oversees cash management and vault/recycler/ATM custody
  • Assists with branch audits
  • Assists with training and development within the department
  • Resolve some escalated member situations
  • Sets a positive example to fellow co-workers in person and on social media


Qualifications

Education



  • High School Diploma or GED



Experience



  • 3 - 5 years of similar or related experience
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • CAMPUS Cash Operations Certification (New hires will be required to complete Cash Operations Certification within 18 months of employment)
