What you will do

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to help make this vision come true to our customers when they come in and are looking for support.

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for providing electrical design and manufacturing support for production. The Electrical Engineer will gain an understanding of the equipment, electrical requirements, and support the electrical design team using AutoCAD. This position is onsite, based in Federalsburg, MD. Candidates must be commuting distance to the facility, or able/willing to relocate. We cannot provide sponsorship for this role, so candidates must be either US citizens, or permanent resident of the US.

How you will do it

  • Supports applications engineering and purchasing in the completion of MCP design worksheets.

  • Working with engineering to validate motor count and names for MCP's.

  • Perform FLA calculations, breaker, and conduit sizing.

  • Modifications/ Redline of MCP drawings.

  • Provide support with wiring practices/ installation in the shop.

What you will need
Required

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, engineering or related field

  • Understanding of National Electrical Code (NEC)

  • Understanding of FLA calculations for motors

  • 5+ years of experience designing electrical conduit and wiring

  • AutoCAD experience

  • Understanding of electrical principles and wiring

  • US citizen and/or permanent resident

  • Must be onsite

Preferred

  • Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)

  • Experience in Information Systems / Databases

  • Experience with system control design

  • Solidworks
