As a Senior Plant (Cost) Accountant your goal is to support cost accounting, inventory controls and other accounting functions by working closely with the finance team and operations leadership. You'll do this by preparing and creating journal entries and reports with month-end closing, costing, daily operations, and other financial analysis. You'll formulate and administer approved accounting practices throughout the organization (Turf Business Unit in support of Ferris brand) to ensure that financial and operating reports accurately reflect the condition of the business and provide reliable information necessary to control operations within the business unit.
