In this role, you will support an engineering team in building and testing standard logistics system building blocks for usage globally by the operations organization. You will work as part of a cross-functional team of highly experienced mechanical, controls, and contract engineers. These building blocks will provide for a backbone of all standard offerings. Dematic's global solution development and project execution organizations will configure and reuse the building blocks in a flexible way to rapidly deploy customer solutions. What we offer:

The hourly pay range for this role is estimated to be $19-23 per hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do in This Role:

  • Support controls engineering of standard modules and solutions for repeated use by Dematic's organizations.
  • Support controls engineering activities and commissioning in Dematic's innovative solution center.
  • Tasks may include: generating controls description of operation, controls layouts, drawings, emulation models, SCADA, PLC software, and documentation.
  • Provide feedback on challenges and recommendations for process, tool, and product improvements to drive organizational efficiencies and outstanding customer offerings.

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or a related field (graduation within 12 months preferred).
