Job Summary:

Key Position Details:

  • Once fully trained this will be a remote role - Must be located within commuting distance because training will be onsite
  • Full time position (80 hours per two-week period)
  • 8-hour, day shifts - 8a - 430p
  • No required weekends
  • Prefer candidates with prior experience in phone-based customer service

Job Description:

Serves as subject matter expert for leave of absence and short term disability programs in alignment and under general direction of Human Resources policies and the legal department. Interprets and administers leave programs and policies.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Performs data entry and complete transactions in appropriate systems.
    • Tracks and maintains accurate records.
    • Provides payroll support.
    • Executes HR process workflow using health care management technology, case management and telephone as applicable.
    • Educates employees on how benefits, accruals, cobra, short term disability and long term disability will apply while on the leave of absence.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of human resources experience with an emphasis on health and welfare, benefits, leave of absence and payroll
  • 2+ years of customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Vocational degree in Human Resources related filed
  • Bachelor's degree

Pay Range

Pay Range: $22.71 to $31.13 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
