What is the role about?
Rust Automation & Controls, a representative of Endress+Hauser Inc., is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role is vital to ensure smooth accounting operations, timely follow-up on outstanding receivables, and accurate application of customer payments. You'll work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to maintain and improve critical accounting processes.
Which tasks will you perform?

• Generate invoices for drop-ship orders.
• Process customer payments and post daily deposits.
• Follow up on outstanding receivables by sending past-due notices and making phone calls.
• Set up and maintain accurate customer account records.
• Evaluate credit limits and history to determine order approvals.
• Post bills for warehouse orders and generate commission invoices for vendors.
• Assist Sales with Will Call orders.
• Follow up on credits and refunds.
• Maintain and enhance accounting reports.
• Explore and implement process improvements in accounts receivable functions.
• Identify and address customer needs to ensure satisfaction.
• Go the extra mile to engage with customers and teammates.

What do we expect from you?

You will have (required):

• College degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong phone communication and listening skills.
• Proficiency in computer applications, especially web-based and ERP systems.
• Customer-oriented with the ability to adapt to various personalities and situations.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to enhance customer experience.

• Prior accounting experience is preferred
