Job Description

Your role will involve performing system engineering and field services for automation process control projects using Distributed Control Systems (DCS), programmable controllers, drives, motor control centers, and other related technologies. The engineer will design and implement moderate to complex system architectures, analyze existing systems, and provide solutions to program support deficiencies. Key activities include system design, engineering, programming, factory and site testing, and problem resolution. We ask that you have flexibility, and a mindset to support multiple phases of project execution.

Your Responsibilities

Perform system engineering and field services for automation projects involving PlantPAx DCS, Logix systems, PowerFlex drives, FactoryTalk View, Historian, and AssetCentre platforms.

Design, implement, and analyze moderate to complex system architectures and automation solutions.

Execute engineering tasks, including software programming, system design, testing (factory and site), and field services.

Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies, while recommending corrective actions.

Collaborate effectively as part of a project team, demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changes and tackle challenges.

Travel to customer sites as needed, supporting installation, testing, and troubleshooting efforts (travel may average 60%).

The Essentials - You Will Have

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Automation, Electronics, Electrical Technology, or equivalent.

At least 1 year of experience in DCS systems development, having led or participated in large and complex projects within the process industry.

Hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation products, including PlantPAx, Logix, Drives, Software, and Industrial Components.

Advanced proficiency in English for both oral and written communication.

Availability and willingness to travel to customer sites for project support.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

Experience with VMware environments, networking, and industrial communication protocols.
