What's the Short Version?

The Project Manager, Digital Marketing guides world-class marketing initiatives in alignment with agreed-upon strategies as outlined by the Digital Product Management team. They work cross-functionally to own and drive project task lists, project plan/schedule development and management, status tracking and reporting, risk identification and mitigation, resource management, project communications and documentation, project meeting facilitation, and other key project execution responsibilities. They see the bigger picture and work with IT and the Digital Product Team to ensure a cohesive Digital Product calendar. This role also contributes to the organization's project management best practices, standardizing processes and templates, and acts as a subject matter expert and advocate.

What Will You Be Doing?



  • Manage the execution effort, between Marketing, IT and Enterprise teams, for assigned project to control scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
  • In partnership with the Digital Product Management team, lead the discovery and scope of requests to create and drive projects, schedules, tasks, resource allocations and workflows and best practices within the project management tool, Workfront.
  • Function as the internal team leader, guiding the team through the project in adherence to the scope of work, budget, best practices, schedule and deliverables.
  • Manage project time frames, objectives, and communications including general process management and support.
  • Assess processes and identify process improvements and key resource needs.
  • Manage multiple agencies and vendors to ensure a successful outcome of campaign creation and distribution.
  • Lead the initiation, planning, and analysis of project and program activities.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate requirements including quality measures and quality assurance standards.
  • Utilize project schedule as the instrument to convey progress, delays, risks, and mitigation plan to get back on track across multiple teams and tools.
  • Analyze and present data to stakeholders over course of the project.
  • Evaluate risk and opportunity impacts to existing or proposed projects and suggests risk mitigation actions.
  • Act as key contact for all cross-functional teams regarding systems, processes, and data related to the project.
  • Assist in the mentorship and training of the Associate PM's and Coordinator's on the team.
  • Execute and oversee elements of other marketing campaigns, as needed.
  • Track and manage technical bugs impacting Marketing tools and content across both Marketing and IT teams.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.



What Are We Looking For?



  • Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Communications or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience with a focus on project management within marketing, ideally in the B2B space
  • Proven project manager and multi-tasker able to meet deadlines and build stakeholder relationships despite ambiguous or shifting requirements
  • Experience with digital-based projects preferred, with understanding of IT, or developer, terminology
  • Functional understanding of IT/development project management methodologies including Agile/Scrum
  • Mac Platform experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator applications a plus
  • Workfront and SmartSheet experience a plus
  • Proficient project management skills, with advanced knowledge of project management methodologies, fundamentals and PM tools
  • Extremely well organized with a proven history in managing multi-element projects within a fast-paced setting with rotating deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail with a keen ability to take excellent notes and or retain information
  • Outstanding communication skills- written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal
  • A positive and helpful attitude including proficient customer service skills
  • Proficient technical knowledge of marketing, creative, and production terms and process, including print, digital and social visual best practices, project flows and current trends
  • Highly collaborative approach that ensures all stakeholders input and engages in a successful outcome throughout the life cycle of the project. Attain necessary approvals to move projects to the next level
  • Ability to accept criticism and perform with professionalism and accuracy under pressure
  • Effective interpersonal and problem-solving skills that build consensus and resolve issues



What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $85,000 - $115,000 annually, depending on experience.

Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.

Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Hybrid: SanMar's Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. Quarterly travel may be required.
