The BNSF Railway Technology Services department drives innovation and efficiency by developing and maintaining advanced technological solutions across the network. This team ensures a robust IT infrastructure, supports critical applications, and enhances cybersecurity measures. Their expertise is essential in optimizing operations and enabling BNSF to deliver reliable, cutting-edge transportation services.

This is a full-timeposition located in Fort Worth, TX. For certain positions, including this one, employees can work one day per week remotely. Our leaders also foster a culture where work life balance, which requires flexibility for when life happens, is important and respected.

Key responsibilities may include:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions aligned with organizational goals.

Provide analysis, diagnostics, and problem resolution for above systems with the goal of achieving maximum availability and performance.

Manage and maintain the Cority platform, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.

Configure, customize, and enhance Cority modules based on business requirements.

Oversee Cority system upgrades, patch management, and the deployment of new features and functionalities.

Develop and maintain system workflows, forms, reports, and dashboards to support business processes.

Leverage problem management tools to record and escalate end-user issues.

Analyze impact of issues and facilitate implementation of appropriate solutions.

Use system management tools to successfully monitor the infrastructure pieces associated with the various HR/Medical systems.

Interface with internal and external service specialist and software developers/vendors regarding problem determination and resolution.

Follow up problem reports to ensure final resolution and closure.

Daily work is conducted in an indoor office environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Able to work in the US without company sponsorship now AND in the future.
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience/formal training.
  • Solid understanding of database structures and SQL for reporting and data analysis.
  • Experience with system integrations using APIs, middleware, or other tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting environments and basic networking concepts.
  • Requires excellent personal organization, time management, and communication skills. The successful candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills and good conflict resolution and decision-making skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Cority EHSQ Enterprise Software.
  • 2 years' work experience in a SaaS custom configuration environment.
  • Experience with Java and related frameworks such as Spring Boot or Hibernate.
  • Experience of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
