Division and Unit Overview Human Resources is responsible for developing and implementing human resource strategies and programs for the American Chemical Society (ACS). The HR team has the challenge of achieving exceptional customer satisfaction, thus having a direct impact on the value and quality of HR solutions. The customer base is diverse, including current, former and potential employees, management business partners, American Chemical Society management and Executive Team, fellow HR Team members and outside vendors. Qualifications: College degree or equivalent experience (1 - 3 years); experience supporting learning and development teams preferred; Strong interpersonal, project management, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail required. Previous experiences in coordination support, meeting logistics and tracking, and Learning Management Systems preferred. The position may require travel. Duties: This role is within a high energy team focused on facilitating experiential learning and development solutions to help leaders and employees perform at their best. This position reports to the Director, Organizational Effectiveness (OE) within Human Resources and assists in designing, developing and implementing programs that increase organizational effectiveness including, but not limited to: team engagements and cohort-based training, rotational programs, new employee orientation; leadership development; compliance and policy training; and training initiatives across the broader American Chemical Society (ACS). Coordinates for large cohort and rotational delivery programs, tracking relevant data and information provided by others, and inputting it into LMS, spreadsheets, and other tools. Tracks details associated with room setup, vendor support, catering and logistical support with high degree of accuracy. Extracts data in various forms (graphs, charts, etc.) from the LMS and other systems to include in reports. Creates, organizes, and maintains correspondence and records for training delivery program including participant information, travel details, and dietary restrictions. Completes post-training coordination and follow-up using standard processes and evaluations. Requires strong written and verbal communication skills with opportunity to co-facilitate and develop in the Learning and Development field.
