The Global Markets & Technologies (GM&T) World Business Unit delivers technological solutions (molecules, equipment and services) to support the new markets of energy transition, maritime logistics and scientific exploration, in order to accelerate Air Liquide sustainable growth. To support the energy transition, GM&T brings environmentally friendly solutions to the clean energy market with hydrogen energy and Bio-Natural Gas for vehicles, refrigerated transport using nitrogen, but also the treatment and injection of Biogas into the energy grid as a local power source. Air Liquide Biogas team embodies the ambition of the Air Liquide group, developing global solutions for biomethane upgrading. We are present across the biomethane supply chain: production from organic and farm wastes, purification, liquefaction, packaging, transportation and distribution. Using Air Liquide's innovative membrane technology, we are able to separate methane and carbon dioxide to generate high quality biomethane. The Field Service Engineer manages the after sales startup activities and relationship with customers for our Sale of Equipment (SOE) business. Biogas Americas has over 60 Biogas Upgrading Systems operating at customer sites throughout the US and this role is designed to be a support mechanism for the customer and a data source for the business. Biogas Americas is pursuing the addition of customer operations support and troubleshooting agreements to its business model and the Field Service Engineer is the key component of that model. The Field Service Engineer will be a front line representative for the Biogas Americas business, and will lead the commissioning and start up and maintenance of Biogas Upgrading Systems. He/she will also be a conduit to the System Design and Engineering team for innovative improvements and new product needs based on input from operating customers.
