Main Duties & Responsibilities

Essential
Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:

Supports location EHS Manager in the overall process implementation
oversight. Assists location EHS Manager in developing and maintaining
procedures and recordkeeping Assists in investigating EHS incidents and implementing
corrective actions.
Ensures compliance with all environmental and safety regulatory requirements. Coordinates EHS training programs and provides training
for employees as needed. Prepares and submits reports as required to all local, state, and
federal regulatory bodies.
Participates and leads EHS committee activities Manages site Toolbox Talk Program. Conducts job hazard analyses and other safety assessments. Assists in managing the site hazard recognition program. Conducts periodic site assessments and inspections as needed. Other duties as assigned

The pay scale for this position ranges from $83,000-107,000 annually.

Qualifications

Essential Knowledge & Skills:
Solid interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as
part of a team
Must be highly organized
Knowledge of general OSHA regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with
Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Basic Requirements
Minimum of two (2) years' experience
Bachelor's Degree in from an accredited institution in Environmental
Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Biology, Chemistry,
Environmental Engineering or related field

Preferred Qualifications:
3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
Bilingual
(read, write, and speak Spanish) preferred
Experience with environmental regulatory compliance
Generalist
environmental experience (all disciplines - water, waste, air, chemical)
