Job Description

Are you passionate about creating safe, functional, and visually appealing spaces? Join our team as a Maintenance Technician III and play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep of our property, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems, and physical structural elements.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician III, you'll be responsible for:

  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on the building's interior and exterior, including grounds, roofing, and fire prevention systems.
  • Respond to guest requests with a friendly, positive attitude, providing exceptional service.
  • Handle painting, drywall, flooring, trim work, plumbing repairs, lighting replacements, and more to maintain the property's aesthetics and functionality.
  • Coordinate inventory of tools, equipment, and materials; submit purchase requisitions as needed.
  • Work with managers and colleagues to develop and execute maintenance solutions and support overall hotel operations.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all local, state, and federal safety regulations.
Qualifications
  • Education & Experience:
    • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college/technical school.
    • 0-3 years of related experience in painting, electrical, plumbing, and drywall repairs (or an equivalent combination).
  • Certificates & Licenses:
    • Valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Familiarity with preventive maintenance, equipment repair, and safety protocols.
    • Knowledge of fire protection systems, basic electrical systems, and accident prevention measures.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
