Your Role on Our Team:

We are looking for anEngineering Technicianpassionate about product development, quality control and reliability, and being hands-on. A typicalEngineering Technicianis responsible for supporting test development and execution while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities

  • Conduct safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

  • Exercise responsibility for thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy of work performed

  • Support New Product Development - Quality & Reliability teams through test execution, documentation, and data analysis

  • Maintain agility and support multiple requests within designated projects while maintaining priority organization and efficiency

  • Follow work instructions and test fixture procedures

  • Prepare efficient test procedures from test specifications

  • Perform hands-on testing using a variety of electrical and mechanical test equipment and techniques

  • Prepare reports utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, databases, spreadsheets and statistical / graphical software

  • Participate in the improvement and development of testing, equipment, and documents

  • Maintain test procedures and equipment according to departmental procedures

  • Support the purchase, transfer, and shipping of equipment and materials

  • Contribute to organizational goals and objectives

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Requires an education equivalent to a technical Associate Degree

  • Excellent organization & communication skills

  • Experience with test equipment, test procedures and methods, technical writing, mechanical/electrical principles

  • High proficiency of Computer Skills and Microsoft Office products

  • Knowledge of test concepts in the design and development of products and components.

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

  • Experience working with product development or design

  • Experience working with data acquisition and test instrumentation

  • Experience with technical writing
