Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

As a Senior Manufacturing Planning Specialist, you'll create production plans and oversee the execution of those plans to achieve on time completions to the master schedule.

This position will be concentrated in the Quick Response Center / Test Equipment which includes new product introduction/prototypes, engineering requests, and test equipment for internal and external customers.

The candidate will be able to:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment ensuring adherence to all required standards and procedures.
  • Adapt quickly as priorities change and designs are in flux.
  • Have strong communication skills keeping the team and all stakeholders apprised of priorities and commitments.
  • Collaborate with many stakeholders to maintain proper priorities and meeting commitments.
  • Identify and resolve material constraints with supply chain and coordinate the delivery and inspection of materials to ensure on time production.
  • Partner with the Master Schedulers to ensure production and schedules are in sync.

What you bring to the table:
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree
  • An exceptional understanding of bill of material concepts and methodologies
  • Solid understanding of the proposal process for both material and labor estimating
  • Extremely proficient with material planning tools

  • Ability to prioritize program material needs with supply chain and internal shops as appropriate
  • Aptitude to create production and material plans to include inventory goals and schedules
  • Understanding of engineering changes and their effect on the bill of material


Target salary range: USD $69,025.00/Yr. - USD $74,687.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
