Department OverviewMotorola's Access Control Division's (previously OpenPath, now Avigilon Alta) mission is to improve your workday with smart office technology at your front door. We are looking for candidates who can help us build, scale and innovate as we develop our industry leading platform for access control and office automation. Strong analytical and software skills are a must in order to join our team, and we are particularly seeking candidates with experience and skills in multiple technologies, in order to contribute broadly to our team-centric approach to product development. Job DescriptionIn this student internship, you will report to the DevOps Manager. The DevOps team is responsible for supporting Software Engineering teams through building tools to automate a variety of tasks, deploying and managing software to over 10,000 units installed at customer sites, and managing related cloud-based operations. This position is exposed to the entire stack; it's a great opportunity to become more familiar with Linux and Linux troubleshooting while also directly improving existing software tools and products used by customers every day.
