A Brief Overview:
As a Driver, you will be an integral part of the hospital. The driver is responsible for the delivery of bulk clean linen to customers and the pick-up of bulk soiled linen. Operates medium and heavy weight trucks. Loads, transports and unloads other materials and supplies.

Position Highlights:

  • Hourly Pay Range: $19.31 - 28. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

  • Location: Elmhurst, IL

  • Part Time - 20 hour

  • Hours: Monday - Saturday 2 am to 6 am and some rotating holidays

  • Required Travel: Yes

What you will do:

  • Operate medium and heavy weight trucks to pick up and deliver linens.

  • Load and unload truck by hand as directed and assist in loading and unloading of large quantities of soiled and/or clean linens.

  • Follow a predetermined schedule of pickup and delivery according to customer expectations.

  • Follow infection control policy when transporting clean/soiled linens

What you will need:

  • One year of truck driving experience or an equivalent combination of experience is preferred

  • Current valid Illinois "C" license required for full size truckrequired
