Auditor, Healthcare Revenue Integrity Program

Join the Exela Technologies Managed Care Professionals (MCP) Team as an auditor. Every claim and every client is different! Decision making is required. This position works remotely from a home office, but you must live in greater St. Louis, MO area.

Job Description

Job Summary:

The Auditor II within MCP will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of provider reimbursement based on payer contracted rates. This healthcare revenue integrity position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes daily worklist for multiple clients.
  • Conduct audits of client accounts for accuracy of the contractual obligation calculation.
  • Review and confirm system generated underpayment explanation. Forward underpaid accounts for follow-up and collections to Lead Caller.
  • Collaborate with MCP teams and client stakeholders to communicate audit findings.
  • Prepare clear, detailed, and well-organized audit reports and presentations for clients, management, or stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and support to other auditors and team members as needed.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, fostering trust and confidence in MCP's services.

Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience in a healthcare related profession.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, hospital administration, or nursing is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
