| Job Summary |
Auburn University Housing is excited to begin the search for Conference Assistants! Conference Assistants (CAs) provide service and assistance to summer guests, assist in the daily operations of Auburn University Housing, and must possess exceptional customer service skills.
CAs must be knowledgeable of and able to implement university policies, as well as serve as a resource regarding inquiries related to the campus and the local community.
The CA position requires a genuine personal commitment, flexibility, and a good understanding of the imprecise work hour description.
This position REQUIRES that all CAs live on-campus. |
| Essential Functions |
Administrative Tasks: Preparing keys, completing paperwork, making copies, completing on call logs, writing information reports, and distributing pertinent information to guests
Operation Tasks: Weekly desk shifts as well as an on-call component. Building walk-throughs and building assessments., completing all tasks in EZ-Turn, ensuring progress updates and task completions are recorded.
Customer Service Tasks: Answering general questions, troubleshooting issues, following up with customers, and providing overall excellent customer service.
Safety and Risk Management Tasks: Initiating emergency protocols, reporting all issues and concerns, referrals to appropriate parties, and knowledgeable of risks to minors on campus policies.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Enrolled student at Auburn University.
Expectations:
- Possess a minimum 2.50 GPA and in good conduct standing with University Housing, as well as Auburn University.

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Experience living on campus is a plus but is not a requirement for applying for a CA position.
