Senior Account Manager

Main Responsibilities:

• Sell the Ingredients portfolio such as Hydrocolloids, Protein, Emulsifiers, and Stabilizers.
• Achieve sales revenue and gross profit targets for the Ingredients Platform.
• Work closely with Business Units to develop short and long-term strategies to achieve sales growth.
• Build project pipeline to sustain growth targets.
• Manage all aspects of the selling process.
• Manage and build relationships with existing customers.
• Work closely with demand planning, providing monthly forecast guidance.
• Update opportunities in SalesForce as they progress.
• Focus on the customer.

Job Qualifications:

• Hydrocolloid, Protein, Emulsifiers, and/or Stabilizer knowledge, preferably for pet food applications.
• Demonstrated success in sales, preferably in the Pet Food Industry.
• Industry/customer knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional team activity.
• Ownership/Accountability/Drive.
• Negotiation skills and Business acumen.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Food Science degree or applicable Industry knowledge. BioChemistry, Food Science, Food & Nutrition, Food Technology, Veterinary Science, or any other relevant industry.
• Proven track record in account development, creating and supporting delivery of strategies to meet business objectives.

You will be reporting to the Culinary & Pet Sales Leader for NAM. You will directly manage regional accounts, promoting IFF Ingredients to customers in the Pet Food space. You will be supported by various groups across the business including Marketing, Product Management, Applications, R&D, Operations, and Finance to achieve a common goal.
