Overview This position is for Department 701, Shore Facility Engineering Services, located at the Naval Submarine Base New London. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with Shore Facility Engineering Services. Duties include assisting with: database maintenance and file management; deliverable distribution; development of conference minutes and technical reports; project progress reporting; tracking and documenting status of Program and supplier deliverables, Government Furnished Material and Information. The successful candidate must possess exceptional attention to detail, administrative and organizational skills, and be capable of coordinating multiple tasks currently being performed by the Program Manager and the Program Supervisors such as taking minutes, writing reports, tracking and distribution of deliverables, etc. The individual will manage multiple concurrent tasks. The candidate shall be able/willing to work flexible hours as required to support project objectives. The PCTA shall be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access. The candidate must be familiar with security requirements for handling classified and unclassified NNPI, including distribution markings. Responsibilities' will include, but are not limited to:
Process onboarding of new hires and department transfers, including creating job postings and scheduling interviews.
The PCTA must be well versed in U.S. Navy policies, DoD procedures, EB polices and documentation. This position is not an entry level position, this position is an extension of management with the expectation to document and report on performance based goals. Qualifications Required
