Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Lead with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS ECS SQL CSS HTML Docker Container Mockito GITHUB Docker Hub Container Registry API Gateway Authentication & Authorization Netflix Hystrix Eureka Apache Log4J Spring Cloud Spring Boot Docker Administration JSON Web Token Redis Gradle EHCache Spring Integration Java JSON Spring MVC Spring Core Rest API Junit Spring Frame

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure cloud-based solutions using AWS ECS.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of SQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Provide expertise in CSS and HTML to create responsive and user-friendly web interfaces.
  • Manage Docker Containers and Docker Hub to streamline application deployment and scaling.
  • Utilize Mockito for unit testing and ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with team members using GITHUB for version control and code collaboration.
  • Implement API Gateway for efficient and secure API management.
  • Ensure robust authentication and authorization mechanisms are in place for application security.
  • Integrate Netflix Hystrix and Eureka for fault tolerance and service discovery.
  • Utilize Apache Log4J for effective logging and monitoring of applications.
  • Develop microservices using Spring Cloud and Spring Boot for modular and maintainable code.
  • Administer Docker environments to ensure smooth operation and deployment of applications.
  • Implement JSON Web Token for secure token-based authentication.
  • Utilize Redis for caching and improving application performance.
  • Manage build automation using Gradle for efficient development workflows.
  • Implement EHCache for effective caching solutions.
  • Integrate various systems using Spring Integration for seamless data flow.
  • Develop and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on performance and scalability.
  • Utilize JSON for data interchange between systems.
  • Implement and maintain Spring MVC and Spring Core for robust web applications.
  • Develop and maintain REST APIs for seamless communication between services.
  • Utilize Junit for unit testing and ensuring code quality.
  • Develop SOAP-based web services for legacy system integration.
  • Use Eclipse and IntelliJ IDEA for efficient development and debugging.
  • Manage project dependencies using Maven for streamlined builds.

Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience in AWS ECS SQL CSS HTML Docker Container Mockito GITHUB Docker Hub Container Registry API Gateway Authentication & Authorization Netflix Hystrix Eureka Apache Log4J Spring Cloud Spring Boot Docker Administration JSON Web Token Redis Gradle EHCache Spring Integration Java JSON Spring MVC Spring Core Rest API Junit Spring Framework SOAP Eclipse IntelliJ IDEA Maven.
  • Must have domain experience in Agency Management and Agent Set-up.
  • Should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a hybrid work model.
  • Should have strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Should have a proactive approach to learning new technologies and improving existing skills.
  • Should have the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Certifications Required

AWS Certified Solutions Architect

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until Jan 29, 2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $112,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
