Position Summary

The Marketing Program/Project Manager develops, executes, and oversees initiatives, projects, plans, tactics, analysis, and recommendations in support of CPS Energy's brand, programs, events, education, customer strategies, products & services, and initiatives. The Marketing Program/Project Manager's initiatives will target residential; including Spanish-speaking and underserved-demographic customers, small business, large commercial & industrial customers, employees, and stakeholders. The Marketing Program/Project Manager will develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the industry, company, target markets, products & services, programs, and channels addressing each target market. The Marketing Program/Project Manager will be responsible for collaboration and coordination with Corporate Communications & Marketing team members, internal operations, product teams, executives, other internal clients and partners, as well as external stakeholders, agencies, consultants, and community organizations to identify, define and meet goals related to initiatives and projects.

Tasks and Responsibilities

* Develop, execute and oversee marketing and communication plans to create awareness and communicate the value of CPS Energy's services, programs, and initiatives.

* Ensure that projects and plans meet expectations regarding schedule, budget, scope, and quality through evaluation, metrics and benchmarking.

* Lead and participate in multiple cross-functional projects and initiatives. Oversee projects and coordinate activities.

* Develop solutions to business issues and present alternatives.

* Perform functions such as project management, program management, strategic planning, and/or resource planning and budgeting.

* Develop documentation of marketing and communication plans and business processes.

* Perform analysis of plan and/or project data. Generate reports and data.

* Effectively communicate status updates, issues, and make recommendations.

* Develop project descriptions and scope of work.

* Create, maintain and modify schedules for channel communications and updates.

* Manage calendar for communications supporting projects and plans.

* Coordinate with communications and marketing team members to generate and share stories and content for all channels.

* Cultivate relationships with employees, customers, and the community.

* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be collaborative, and have a strong client-service background and orientation.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Skills
Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Demonstrated ability and desire to coach and mentor individuals and teams to achieve increased competencies and effectiveness levels.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate team building with employees across various disciplines and at all levels, including ability to engage people in productive activities without formal authority.
Manage all phases of a project following established methodology with a considerable amount of autonomy.
Previous working experience with responsibility to corporate initiatives, employee programs, corporate affairs, project management, or a related role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Package, including word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software, electronic mail and scheduling.

Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or related field from an accredited university or relevant work experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.

Working Environment
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors. Requires use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and calculator. Employee may potentially be exposed to outdoor weather, wet or humid conditions, noisy and dusty environment.
Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions or other business-related events. After hours and weekend work is required on an occasional basis.
Physical Demands
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary, walking and standing are required only occasionally, and if all other sedentary criteria are met.
