About this opportunity
Join the MANA Commercial Management Bid and Proposal Management team and take the lead in driving our bid and proposal efforts to secure new business. In this role, you will oversee the entire proposal development process, from identifying opportunities to final submission. Your responsibilities will include managing schedules, organizing resources, coordinating inputs and reviews, implementing bid strategies, ensuring compliance, resolving internal issues, and providing leadership throughout the process.
The ideal candidate will excel in project management, demonstrate the ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, and adeptly balance sales team experiences with various leadership styles.
What you will do
* Proposal Oversight: Manage the proposal development process by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, legal, finance, training, and customer support to gather and compile necessary information.
* Proposal Structuring: Define proposal timelines and deliverables, including pricing, documentation, and approvals.
* Proposal Execution: Ensure proposals are technically sound and align with business objectives through hands-on involvement in critical activities.
* Risk Management: Identify and address risks in the bid process, ensuring proposals meet financial and technical standards.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with sales, marketing, business analysts, and other domains to ensure pricing, margins, and terms adhere to company guidelines and optimize costs.
* Post-Submission Management: Oversee RFP read-outs and coordinate proposal revisions.
* Process Adherence: Ensure stakeholder alignment and adherence to sales processes, providing guidance on roles, responsibilities, and tools.
* Documentation and Branding: Apply best practices in documentation and use of templates to enhance team collaboration and proposal quality.
* Content Review: Edit and review proposal content for clarity, consistency, and compliance with RFP requirements.
* Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in the bid and proposal process by implementing best practices and incorporating lessons learned.
You will bring
* Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in the telecommunications industry preferred.
* Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Ericsson portfolio and internal processes, with project management experience considered an asset.
* Skills: Strong project management and organizational abilities, excellent written and verbal communication, and high attention to detail.
* Capabilities: Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Business Acumen: Demonstrated business acumen and financial understanding a plus.

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
Your Health
Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of three medical plan options and a dental plan option that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost that Ericsson pays toward the cost of their medical and dental premiums for themselves and eligible covered dependents.
Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson matches $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
