OverviewCloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is the business unit responsible for operating Microsoft's cloud and the Datacenter Construction Delivery (DCD) team is responsible for constructing datacenter capacity. We have a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects underway. Our focus is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide. We are looking for an individual to help build the network that powers the world's largest online services.We are seeking a Data Center Integration and Technical Infrastructure Manager (DCITIM) with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate is self-directed and has a solid background in data center construction and fit-out projects, with a focus on passive telecom infrastructure and construction management. This role involves program management of integration and technical infrastructure fit-out activities for Microsoft-owned systems, services, and critical infrastructure. The DCITIM will ensure successful installation of required infrastructure in new data center builds or leased facilities to deliver business capacity in the Atlanta metro area. This role is based in Atlanta, GA, with relocation support available. Candidates must either reside within or relocate to within 50 miles of the designated hub office. The position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, allowing up to 50% remote work from home within the 50-mile radius. Candidates are required to visit the hub site at least once a week. ResponsibilitiesIdentify and manage scopes and interdependencies between internal and external stakeholders, coordinating these efforts with the physical construction build and general contractor.Oversee the handover process, ensuring required documentation and expectations are met for a seamless transition to Operations teams and the business.Develop and manage project plans, executing key milestones such as Early Access, Ready Network Install, Corpnet Live, Security CX Complete, Fit Out Complete, Lockdown, and Colo Ready.Monitor project budgets, recommend adjustments, and manage project controls, including expenditure requests, change orders, and pay applications, ensuring cost-effective delivery within budget forecasts.Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., CO+I, CSE, RE&F) to update processes, improve efficiency, and drive cost savings. Participate in project meetings to provide guidance and promote cross-group collaboration.Oversee procurement, resource allocation, and safety protocols to ensure timely, compliant project delivery. Communicate risk mitigation strategies and support progress tracking for program milestones.Manage vendor relationships to ensure contract compliance and performance standards. Review engineering designs, identify risks, and provide recommendations to enhance constructability and align with organizational standards.OtherEmbody our Culture & Values
