What this job involves: The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will provide specialized support for our key client in Integrated Facilities and Property Management, focusing on optimizing JLL managed services, operations and sourcing strategies. The position requires delivering market intelligence, leading strategic initiatives, and collaborating closely with the client and internal teams to drive significant benefits and ensure client satisfaction.
Your day-to-day tasks will include: Serving as the subject matter expert in JLL sourcing strategies and supplier relationships specific to our client's needs Collaborating closely with the client and JLL teams to drive immediate and long-term benefits Conducting regular market trend analysis tailored to the client's industry and reporting findings Implementing and managing client-specific regional and national programs Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers relevant to the client's operations Overseeing RFP/bid, contracting, and operational processes aligned with the client's requirements Ensuring compliance with JLL's policies and the client's specific risk management needs Liaising with Corporate Legal and Risk Management on client-related contractual matters Establishing work priorities and managing deliverables to meet the client's expectations consistently Desired experience and technical skills: Requirements: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university 3+ years of strategic sourcing experience, preferably in a dedicated account role Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building strong client relationships Strong analytical ability and attention to detail Proven ability to lead teams in a client-focused environment Excellent communication skills - oral and written, with experience in client-facing roles Proficiency in MS Office applications and client-specific software platforms Preferred: Project management experience, particularly in long-term client engagements Experience in business transitions and change management Familiarity with the client's industry and specific operational challenges Knowledge of diversity programs and supplier mentoring aligned with the client's values Experience with e-commerce procurement initiatives relevant to the client's needs |
