JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Penn State Behrend, School of Engineering is seeking applicants for a full-time administrative assistant. The administrative assistant plays a key role in supporting the School of Engineering by managing student-focused events, overseeing communications, and maintaining essential resources. This position emphasizes student engagement, recruitment, and retention while ensuring seamless coordination of events, marketing, and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: Event Coordination

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, work well both independently and in a team setting, and have exceptional organizational, prioritization, and customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 systems (Teams, Word, Excel, Forms, Outlook, etc.) is preferred. This position requires a high school diploma/GED or Vocational Training/Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
