- You will drive the implementation of global and regional HR strategies to address business needs along with contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies for the United States
- You will lead practices for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, engagement, compensation and benefits, retention, compliance, labor relations, and employee events
- You'll manage all HR Operations activities within the US, providing strategic advisory and decisions on people matters
- Oversee workforce planning, employee engagement, legal compliance, industrial relations, compensation & benefits, and payroll
- Take ownership of the HR budget for the US, ensuring efficient personnel cost management along with drive HR Operations efficiency by managing personnel costs and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
- Enhance employee engagement, productivity, development, and retention through regular feedback and coaching including ensuring the People Development Cycle is effectively implemented within the team
- Manage complex interfaces and provide strategic guidance to key stakeholders
- Collaborate with regional council management teams, influencing and achieving desired organizational outcomes
- Act as an agent of change, leading the process of cultural transformation and encourage a coherent organizational culture that aligns with Clariant's values
- Lead, delegate, and develop a high-performing team that supports an entrepreneurial mindset
Requirements
- To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resource Management, Law, Operational Psychology, or Business along with additional HR certifications (SHRM) is highly preferred
- Demonstrated HR leadership experience, including partnering with senior stakeholders within a matrix organization
- The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge and understanding of US employment laws, industrial relations practices, and requirements
