Job Summary

The Manager of Sustainability and Supplier Diversity is responsible for a specific Supply Chain strategic initiative, including strategy and framework, and for effectively assessing and managing the initiative. This role will assist the organization in the identification, classification, measurement and monitoring of the overall supplier diversity program and plan. This role will work closely with strategic sourcing, DEI, and other functional partners across the organization.

Essential Functions
  • Partner to develop the design and deployment of a system-wide framework for supplier diversity initiative. Maintain this framework and update to new guidelines and initiatives to ensure success of the overall program. Ensure alignment of framework to organizational goals and objectives.
  • Work with Procurement and other internal stakeholders to hold strong relationships to develop, deploy and maintain plan for appropriate oversight of suppliers.
  • Build organizational awareness of importance of supplier diversity program; become sought out expert in area given high level of knowledge
  • Oversee the ongoing program management which includes annual goal setting, KPI's, and annual program planning. This includes overall responsibility and accountability of ensuring a successful supplier diversity across the organization.
  • Coordinate and help deliver education and training programs around the importance of supplier diversity to key stakeholders across the organization. Actively engage and participate in working groups among stakeholders.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to supplier diversity team members around goal setting, program development and implementation.
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement. Accountable for regular reporting and tracking of supplier diversity program goals and metrics.
  • Provide reporting and analysis of programs and partnerships. Responsible for communicating the results of the analysis to senior leadership and stakeholders in a clear and comprehensive way.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain
  • 5 years of relevant experience within a regulated industry (auditing, compliance, procurement, etc.)
  • 2 years of relevant leadership experience
  • Able to work on site 3 times per week (Tues to Thurs)

Preferred

  • Master's Degree preferably in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain
