We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable professional to join our team as an EDI Technician. As the investigator and fact-checker of data, you'll ensure our business has the right information to provide excellent customer service to the businesses we serve.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:



  • Hourly Wage: $20.75 - $23.00 plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Remote opportunity.
  • Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match. Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2025, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2025, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2025 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Identify & process eligibility discrepancies accurately & communicate issues to clients promptly while meeting production and quality standards. Evaluate and maintain employee eligibility, ensuring compliance with policyholder contracts and legal requirements, insurance policy review.
  • Review and analyze submitted data, initiate correspondence for missing information, and educate policyholders and brokers.
  • Understand different file types submitted by Benefit Administrators and their impact on processing and eligibility downstream.
  • Utilize various applications to assess employee and group eligibility. Applications include, but are not limited to COMPASS, GSAP, Salesforce, EDI Processor, BAM, Ultra Edit, Employer Access.



WHAT YOU'LL BRING:



  • Proven experience in customer service, ideally within a call center environment. Must demonstrate the ability to provide clear and effective support to clients, vendors, and internal teams, maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong skills in Excel. Exceptional typing and data entry abilities, ensuring strict accuracy and attention to detail for processing electronic data.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills, capable of articulating instructions and information effectively to Workplace Solutions associates, customers, brokers, vendors, and Benefits Administration partners. Able to foster and maintain positive relationships while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Ability to identify issues, interpret trends, analyze problems, develop effective solutions in a timely manner to resolve errors.
  • Demonstrates strong organizational & time management skills. Possesses the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple concurrent projects while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Experienced in researching and resolving complex issues, conceptually thinking beyond existing barriers, methods, & utilizing independent judgment.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.



PREFERRED:



  • Strong multitasking & Familiarity with applications used for eligibility investigation - COMPASS, GSAP, Salesforce, EDI Processor, BAM, Ultra Edit, Employer Access.
  • Knowledge of eligibility requirements, contract provisions, and applicable federal/state laws and emerging industry trends.
