Position Summary

The Mortgage Operation Support Specialist provides operational support to various stakeholders within HomeAmerican Mortgage. This position assists Management, Compliance and Processing in executing essential tasks that are vital for the successful origination of mortgage loans. The specialist will be responsible for assisting with data entry and validation, targeted compliance projects, new loan setups, appraisal orders.

Responsibilities

    Administrative support:
    • Processing invoices, managing purchase orders, coordinating deliveries, maintaining calendars, order credit reports and reverifications in accordance with HMC's Quality Control Program and handling general office tasks.
  • Data management:
    • Entering and updating data in operational systems, generating reports and analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Compliance management:
    • Ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations regarding operations.
  • Customer support:
    • Responding to customer inquiries related to operations and providing technical assistance
  • Communication and coordination:
    • Collaborating with different departments to ensure smooth communication and alignment on operational matters.

Required skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of relevant operational systems and software

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $55,000-65,000
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Year-end Discretionary
