Work Schedule:

Schedule will be the same each week. Hours will fall between Monday- Friday, business hours.

Pay:

We are seeking an Optometrist to:



  • Join the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences to provide quality care as an independent health care provider while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including general and specialty ophthalmologists.
  • Provide quality care in a compassionate and patient-family centered environment.
  • Plan and create learning opportunities for technical staff and residents.
  • Educate patients and families on wellness, prevention and treatment plans.
  • This position will be 50% focused seeing Glaucoma patients.


Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) Degree from an accredited Optometry School Required
  • Completion of a one-year residency in post-optometry school study Preferred

Work Experience

  • 3 years post graduate clinical experience OR completion of a residency program Required
  • 7 years of relevant clinical experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • State of Wisconsin Optometry Licensure Upon Hire Required
  • CPR certification Upon Hire Required
