*Description*
Key Responsibilities IT Asset Management & CMDB Maintenance *Maintain and update IT asset records in ServiceNow CMDB and HAM Pro to ensure accuracy and compliance. *Assist in onboarding and retiring IT assets, ensuring lifecycle tracking from procurement to decommissioning. *Support reconciliation of asset data between ServiceNow and other systems (e.g., procurement databases, financial records). *Support IT asset management projects for asset recovery, asset stockroom audits, asset deployment process improvement and us-based PC refresh initiatives. *Work with IT and procurement teams to validate asset ownership, location, and configurations. *Monitor ServiceNow CMDB for inconsistencies and work with stakeholders to correct data discrepancies. Business Analysis & Process Improvement *Analyze IT asset data and provide reports on inventory, usage, compliance, and costs. *Identify trends and provide insights to improve asset utilization and cost efficiency. *Assist in defining and documenting IT asset management policies, procedures, and workflows. *Collaborate with stakeholders to improve CMDB data accuracy and enforce governance practices. Compliance & Audit Support *Support internal and external audits by providing asset records and reports as needed. *Assist in ensuring IT asset management practices comply with company policies and industry standards *Track software and hardware assets to support license compliance and cost optimization efforts. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement *Work closely with IT, procurement, finance, and security teams to align asset management practices with business goals. *Provide end-user support and training related to IT asset management processes. *Assist in responding to asset-related requests and resolving inquiries in a timely manner. Required Qualifications *Technical Skills: Basic understanding of IT asset management concepts, databases, and ServiceNow CMDB (or similar ITSM tools). *Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing *Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports. *Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a focus on data accuracy. *Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. *Microsoft Office Skills: Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for reporting and documentation. *Project management and timeline management skills *Self-starter - ability to work independently with limited supervision Preferred Qualifications *Extensive Experience with ServiceNow ITSM/CMDB or similar IT asset management tools. *Knowledge of ITIL practices related to IT asset and configuration management. *Bachelor's degree in computer related science or equivalent work experience *Skills* Asset management, Inventory control, Servicenow, Hardware, Asset inventory *Top Skills Details* Asset management,Inventory control,Servicenow,Hardware,Asset inventory *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Communication, driven, data analysis *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
