Infotainment Software Validation Engineer Category: Engineering Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-381453 Infotainment Software Validation Engineer Responsibilities: Validate production-intent Infotainment software releases. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the lab and vehicle. Collaborate with engineering teams to triage and root cause software issues. Support vehicle-level feature verification and validation. Mitigate and prevent emerging Infotainment issues. Identify and resolve roadblocks related to new software releases. Lead Android/QNX platform bring-up, including boot, kernel, and system optimization. Work with hardware teams on low-level driver and BSP validation. Skills: Strong expertise in Android and QNX operating systems, including platform bring-up. Experience with automotive embedded systems or consumer electronics. Proficient in debugging Ethernet, CAN, and other communication protocols. Knowledge of Embedded Software development, including bootloaders, BSPs, and kernel customization. Hands-on experience with audio, video, and camera subsystems. Skilled with debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, tracing, profiling) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with power management, RTOS, and inter-process communication. Estimated Min Rate: $70.00 Estimated Max Rate: $80.00 Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
