Infotainment Software Validation Engineer
Responsibilities:


  • Validate production-intent Infotainment software releases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the lab and vehicle.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to triage and root cause software issues.
  • Support vehicle-level feature verification and validation.
  • Mitigate and prevent emerging Infotainment issues.
  • Identify and resolve roadblocks related to new software releases.
  • Lead Android/QNX platform bring-up, including boot, kernel, and system optimization.
  • Work with hardware teams on low-level driver and BSP validation.


Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Android and QNX operating systems, including platform bring-up.
  • Experience with automotive embedded systems or consumer electronics.
  • Proficient in debugging Ethernet, CAN, and other communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of Embedded Software development, including bootloaders, BSPs, and kernel customization.
  • Hands-on experience with audio, video, and camera subsystems.
  • Skilled with debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, tracing, profiling) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with power management, RTOS, and inter-process communication.



Estimated Min Rate: $70.00
Estimated Max Rate: $80.00
