We are currently looking for a Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our growing team!

JOB SUMMARY

Certified Group has an exciting new opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Associate to join our growing team. In this key role you will keep the building clean and orderly, perform preventative maintenance as necessary, and make minor adjustments or repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, or electrical systems.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Following standard procedures and safety guidelines.
• Service, clean and/or supply all restrooms.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash from all labs, kitchen, and office areas.
• Dust desks, windowsills, credenzas, and other appropriate office furnishings.
• Using buffing machine, wash and scrub all quarry tile floors.
• Special project in each laboratory.
• Other duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• At least three (3) years relevant prior experience required
• Must successfully complete the Hazardous Waste Management (EPA RCRA) and DOT - Hazardous Materials in Transportation 49 CFR Parts 171 - 178 training as required.
• Good organizational skills - ability to use your time, energy, resources, etc. in an effective manner.
• Must be able to multi-task
• Ability to lift at least 60 pounds
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods
• Time management - one's own time and the time of others.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed
