Essential Job Duties |
Support activities in field crop and weed image collection and cover crop breeding. Field responsibilities include planting and hand harvesting cover crops, working with soil sampling equipment in a field setting, transporting, processing and analyzing the samples. Additional responsibilities include some plant image collection in the field, assist with testing of new technology for field settings, collecting plant and soil samples, drying, weighing, and grinding grain, plant, and soil samples, analyzing grain, laboratory analysis of plant and soil samples, managing agronomic research projects, data entry, and other related duties as necessary. |
